Today is the big kick off of my first ever Reader Appreciation Week. Welcome! I've been wanting to do something nice for you guys for a while but the idea finally took shape because of Babus Toys. I had been considering the idea but hadn't done anything about it and it was in danger of disappearing into the abyss along with that dentist appointment I need and my plans to go to the gym. Then Michelle emailed me one of the best offers I've had since I started this blog. She had a little idea and wanted to make it for The Toby Show. I was floored and I knew it would be the perfect way to kick off my Reader Appreciation Week.

Clementine, the nest, the 4 eggs, and Scoot, Feeker, Squawk & Button Open. Mama Clementine is a hollow felted robin with four solid wool eggs that tuck inside. Once she lays them, they can rest on the top of the nest with the hatchlings tucked away underneath. The hatchlings are finger puppets attached to the nest. Their mouths even open so they can be fed.
I'm still speechless over this adorable custom-made creation. Michelle is a truly talented crafter, don't you think?
This is how much I love you guys...I'm NOT begging Michelle to ofter up a Baby Chain or something else from her shop for the giveaway and send the dang birds straight to me. Ohhhh, you better believe I thought about it. But I really do want you all to know how much I appreciate you. And fortunately, she's planning on making more to sell in her shop in the future.
