We made it home to this wonderful sight.
 

I was so happy to fall into my own bed. Our brilliant house-sitters left us a spotless house, clean sheets, breakfast food in the fridge and flowers.  You can't beat that.  

It might be slow going here on The Toby Show this week as I get my life back in order.  The laundry, the bills, the groceries, and getting the kids back into normal sleep patterns are tops on my list at the moment.

As soon as I get all my ducks in a row I'll be posting a fun recap of the trip.  Lots of stuff never made it to the blog because it was hard finding time to download and upload photos.

OnStar and GM Roadside Assistsnce Rock!!!

We're back in business and only 4 hours from home. We stopped to stretch our legs at the George S. Ecceles Dinosaur Park. We ate sammies, played on the dino themed playground and communed with the life sized dinosaurs scattered throughout the immaculate 8 acre park.

Little Jemima hardly ever makes it into the pictures of our activities because she's usually in the wrap. Today she rocked the snappy wheels and was almost gobbled up by a hungry Allosaurus.

This stretch of desolate highway is where we are right this second.

We ran out of gas on the side of the road 15 miles from Price, Utah.

Why?

Because Stephen told me not to stop at the gas station 70 miles back.

There'll be a bigger one down the road a bit, he said. A better one.

There wasn't.

To put this in perspective, my husband is a film producer. He does logistics and project management for a living. This should not have happened. Thank god for On Star.

The upshot of this little delay is that I have single-handedly debunked the myth that it's women who make this kind of bone headed mistake.  Thank you very much.  I should be able to get a lot if mileage out of this one (pun intended).
